Here is yet another in a long line of tote bags that I am dying to have! Thanks to Tolt Yarn and Wool for sharing! It seems pretty simple. A few folds on your finished knitted piece and BAM! Cute tote!
I feel in love with this pattern the moment I saw it! What I think I like about it so much is the combo of t-shirt yarn, color, and simplicity. You can, of course, make yours whatever color you like but take a moment and bask in this completed project’s beauty. There now. Don’t you feel inspired?
I’ve seen some cute bags before and this is definitely one of them! You could keep makeup in there or make it a stylish first aid kit. Or what if you put mini hand lotions in there and gifted it to your BFF? Right? Imagine the possibilities.
I have a confession. I typically hate purse patterns. Why you may ask? Cause the all look so dopey! That’s fine for kids but I want something with so sophistication damn it!
I have searched high and low. The best patterns are in Japanese which is awesome but I can’t read it. Then the heavens parted and bestowed this beauty on me!
Lovely! I would proudly sport or gift this. Just need to figure how to lining…
With the weather starting to warm up I’m left feeling a bit down hearted. No cold. No snow. No more crocheting, right?
Who wears beanies and scarfs in May besides homeless people in late 70’s TV cop dramas? NO ONE!
So I’m on a mission to find stuff to keep the creative juices flowing even in the dead of Summer! I’ll knit on the beach while sucking down a margarita and be glad of it!
Starting with something like this! A purse! Simple, chic, and incredibly gifting worthy. But make one for yourself first. You’ve earned it.
How I’d love to be desperately trying to locate my iPhone in the bottom of this purse! And now I also have the old school theme song running through my head…
Don’t know what I’m talking about? Here. Educate yourself.
Moogly has this awesomeness to share with the world and I’m totally gonna try it. The biggest reason I’m taking on this one (Eventually. I’m still fighting with my current project) is the zipper. How do you put a zipper in a knitted/crocheted purse or pouch or whatever?! Especially when you don’t have a sewing machine! I need to know!
It’s IMPOSSIBLE! IT CAN’T BE DONE!
No. Wait. There’s YouTube.
I love a good purse as much as the next gal but my reality looks a lot more like Roseanne than Sex and the City. If you ever see me buying anything Dolce & Gabbana it’s cause I’ve recently acquired a sugar daddy or a tragic accident kicked my husband’s insurance money into gear. In case you’re wondering, the latter is FAR more likely as again…I’m Roseanne.
So when I saw these, I had to laugh. And then I kinda wanted one.
There are ladies out there challenging themselves to crochet counterfeit versions of their favorite design handbags. Pretty frikkin cool. Some have more success than others. Like with this white Dior bag. It totally stands on its own. It super cute and I would totally rock it. Or even this…
Cool, right? If I ever get more skill at freeforming crochet, I’ll take a whack at one. But I would felt mine to see if I could get a more smooth appearance. First yarn bombing and now this! Label bombing! I wonder what else could be counterfeited while still remaining nifty?
Happy Monday and Veteran’s Day crafty craftersons!
Thank and hug a Vet in your life and when you’re done come back. I have a cute free pattern for you. Go ahead. I’ll wait.
You good? Ok!
SimplyKnitting.com calls this a stash buster but for noobs like me, it’s just plain awesome! Also I don’t have much of a stash to bust yet. Still!
Super cool right? I want to make one to hold my makeup. I have a vinyl one but it’s a pain to clean when something spills. This way I could just pop it in the washer! And that is called good thinking, my friends.
Clutch and coin purse. Thanks Simply Knitting!
