I’m sure everyone has seen these at this point but I think they are the best idea ever! My favorite is the 2nd one. What a great way to use left over yarn for the festivities of the holidays!

But if you’re not a fan of fluffy balls (my inner 7 yr old is giggling like a maniac) then take a look at these!

Sophisticated and the possibilities are endless. Fabulous! Either way your home looks great and everyone on your block will envy the crafty genius you are.

Yarn Doesn’t Grow on Trees…Or Does It?

Image

Let it be known that I am a mad fan of pop and modern art. Seriously. MAD FAN! Right here!

But…

When I see these yarn trees crafted with hot glue, all my knit/crochet brain registers is how that yarn could have been used to make a hat. Or a christening gown. Or a puppy sweater.

On the other hand, these could be cool way to show your love of the knitting or crochet during the holidays. They actually remind me of those funky cones of yarn I see at Joann’s sell for 10 quid or so…which brings me back to wanting to make a hat or something.

But hey! If you have it within your crafty brain to make yourself some modern winter decor, this site has the know how. Check it out here!
