Wind Chime Afghan

When I think of afghans I usually think of the granny square or ripple kind like my mom made me when I was a kid. But this one has a unique, light and airy feel that I just can’t ignore! Maybe it’s the colors, maybe it’s the eyelets in the pattern, but I think this the perfect afghan to crochet for the Summer.

Flame or Rainbow Square

I’m starting to have a thing for granny squares.  I feel an afghan coming on!

And it could be a good way to learn some more crazy stitches. This one seems like something I could handle. The original free pattern is done in red and yellow but I must say I love colors in this one from Moogly.
